Bio:

Wil showed great promise as a divine soul of Erathis. His parents were both members of the clergy until a horrid event. Members of what was believed to be the Blood of Vol kidnapped his mother. The church was unwilling to help. Feeling betrayed, Wil’s father told his son to stay with the church and he left to find his mother. In his father’s absence, Wil studied divinity. At the age of 8 he stopped growing in height. At the age of 10 he stopped growing in appearance. Nobody is certain why he stopped growing. He took the ridicule from the members of the church and the town. His family was an outcast, and he was the only one that could no escape. Wil would venture into the nearby city to escape thoughts in his head: the ridicule, mother, father. Slowly he began to feel the hatred building. He was going to be divine, but not like any other. He wanted a direct channel to his god, not the interpretation from another. It was in a small back-ally shop that he found what he was looking for: the divine magic of invocation.

10 years passed when Wil’s father returned. He was not the man that left, but merely and empty vessel of mutterings: “I found the cult that took your mother… I wanted to destroy them… I joined them… I could not resist their teachings… Blood became my source of power and divinity… I believed that the Blood of Vol was the only true path to divinity… However, I was tricked… The cult was using the Blood of Vol’s teachings as a ruse… They did not believe in self-improvement and shunning higher forces, they believed in Asmodeus, true evil… The shroud of secrecy was unveiled when I entered an unsanctioned room and discovered the high leaders praying to Asmodeus’ symbol that was hiding beneath a carpet… I attempted to run, but was quickly captured… I awoke sometime later in the woods severely bruised, beaten, and tightly wrapped in burlap… My Stone of Light was gone… The old hermit dwarf who once lived in our town, found me… He took care of me until I could remember who I was and why I have the brand of Asmodeus on my chest… The Blood of Vol is a religion, not an evil cult… Learn from their ways… They are the only true path to immortality…” 9 years had passed since he was last home.

Because of his father’s relationship with the cult, and the branding of Asmodeus on his chest, Wil’s family was cast from their town. They were forced to live where and how they could. His father’s health lasted only two more years. It is the lessons of the Blood of Vol that Wil learned from his father: blood is the source of power and divinity, believe in yourself, improve yourself, and to shun higher forces. Like his father, Wil also denounced Erathis, the god of his people and the town he was from.

At the age of 22, Wil is heading out into the world find more Blood of Vol worshipers to help destroy the evil cult. Cults like this make the Blood of Vol widely misunderstood. It is the life quest of many Vols to correct this common misunderstanding and clearly state the exhortations: believe in yourself, improve yourself, and meet with other members to share in the power of each other’s blood.

At 3’11", 80lbs, and divine wrath in his heart, Wil is venturing into the world with a clear mission: find his Stone of Light, find others like him, kill the first cult, kill all evil cults.
